Transfers

If you're already a customer of ours and you want to move to another part of the district, or you want to move to a different house or flat, you can apply for a 'transfer' by applying for membership of the Homesearch scheme.

Exchange homes with someone else

You can swap (exchange) homes with other customers or tenants from other Councils or Housing Associations providing you both have written permission from your landlords. As there are certain conditions you must meet for an exchange to go ahead, for example a clear rent account. Please read our Mutual Exchange leaflet.

We have joined up with House Exchange, a national home exchange provider, to give access to their mutual exchange service. The scheme is free to qualifying customers. Visit www.houseexchange.org.uk, register your details and look for exchanges.
